Membership - How to Join the Institute
The different grades of membership are as follows:
Member (MInstCPD)
This grade is open to individuals who confirm their commitment to their own CPD and support the concept of CPD as an integral part of lifelong learning.
Fellow (FInstCPD)
Fellowship is open to individuals who meet the criteria for the grade of Member and who, in addition, can provide evidence that they undertake at least 40 hours of relevant CPD per year. This requirement of 40 hours may vary for members of professional bodies which have a special arrangement with the Institute.

Please note that if you are an employee or member of a CPD Institute Corporate Affiliate you are entitled to join at a specially reduced rate and should apply online using the form below.

When renewing your Fellowship, please provide a summary of your relevant CPD activity over the past twelve months by completing this form and/or attaching a copy of your CPD record. Fellows are normally required to have completed at least 40 hours of CPD per year.
